From wondering to understanding.
Learn what to expect from Blue Willow’s focused ADHD assessment, from a secure appointment request to screening and a 60–90 minute telehealth review.
1. Request your appointment
Start in the secure SimplePractice portal. View available times and request an initial assessment. The practice will confirm your appointment and explain the paperwork and payment steps. The initial assessment is $225.
You’ll need to be in Kentucky for your telehealth visit. If you’re booking for a teen, ask the practice about age eligibility and parent or guardian participation first.
2. Complete the screening
The practice uses computer-based ADHD screening to add objective information to the assessment. Follow the instructions provided by the practice, including any device or preparation requirements.
Screening is one part of the process. Results are considered alongside your history and a clinical interview; the screening alone does not establish a diagnosis.
3. Meet for a thoughtful review
Your 60–90 minute telehealth review gives you time to discuss what has been difficult, ask questions, and go over the findings with a licensed psychiatric provider.
The conversation helps establish appropriate next steps. Ask about treatment services, follow-up care, or referral options that fit your needs.
Before your visit
- Choose a quiet, private place with a reliable internet connection.
- Follow the practice’s instructions for screening and intake paperwork.
- Keep clinical history and documents in SimplePractice.
- Bring your questions about the process and next steps.
How soon can I be seen?
Check the secure booking portal for current appointment availability. Your appointment request is confirmed by the practice; submitting a request does not guarantee a visit.
How does a telehealth assessment work?
The process combines computer-based screening with a 60–90 minute clinical review over secure video. The provider considers your history and screening results together; a screening score alone is not a diagnosis.
What if it isn’t ADHD?
The review is a chance to discuss what the findings suggest and appropriate next steps. Ask the practice about its scope and referral options before booking.
Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA payments?
The practice is cash pay: $225 for an initial assessment and $100 for a follow-up. Check with the practice and your plan administrator about HSA/FSA eligibility and documentation before using those funds.
Can I discuss medication?
Ask the practice about prescribing services and whether they fit your needs. Any treatment recommendation depends on the provider’s assessment, clinical appropriateness, and applicable requirements.
What ages do you see?
The practice focuses on adolescents and adults in Kentucky. Contact the practice to confirm eligibility for your age before requesting an appointment.
